300 homes proposed for land off Padgbury Lane, Congleton, have been rejected by CE, according to the Congleton Chronicle this week.
It's election time, which means politicians might take more than usual notice of the public. You could do your bit for Congleton by taking up Protect Congleton's suggestion to write to a range of MPs and local councillors, to point out their failings. Protect Congleton says the site visit has been cancelled and that there will be a hearing instead. Apparently this is good news.
The Meadow Avenue planning application was rejected and has gone to appeal, so there will be a visit by the inspector on Wed 29th May.
