Protect Congleton says the site visit has been cancelled and that there will be a hearing instead. Apparently this is good news.
Protect Congleton – Civic Society is holding an evening meeting on 7th Feb to discuss their response and listen to other views. If you do attend, it would be worth looking at the plan in advance so you can contribute fully. Or you can email them with comments instead.
It was mainly this application by Adams (Manchester) for 14 houses (plus a sewerage system suited to 100s), threatening the much loved Priesty Fields area, that rallied residents of Congleton to protest, and to form a new group: Protect Congleton - Civic Society.
